Research field introduction

We are working on achieving the philosophy of Faculty of Dental Science “Overall Well-Being Through Oral Health” through research in the life and dental sciences, as well as through education for undergraduate and graduate students. In particular, we examine the relationship between oral inflammation/peripheral inflammation/inflammation in the brain and systemic diseases with the following themes.
・Functional analysis of a new anti-cancer molecule in anti-tumor immune responses
・Studies on chronic peripheral inflammation-induced glucose and lipid metabolism disorders
・Research on Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegenerative diseases
・Impacts of chronic systemic inflammation on brain functions

Then, through our research, we meet researchers from around the world and disseminate our research results to the world.
