Message to students

Our department focuses on the education of young oral surgeons. In the words of Ieyasu Tokugawa, “”The most important treasure among treasures is not only human resources,”” meaning that the most important thing among treasures is human resources. We believe that people are necessary to maintain and operate the classroom, and that the classroom can only develop through the growth of its people. Kyushu University has a mission to produce excellent researchers and clinicians, and to develop the department, we put special emphasis on fostering human resources, who are our “”treasure,”” and creating an environment for them. While maintaining our good traditions, we will respond flexibly to the trends of the times and further develop the Department of Oral Surgery as a new department that meets the needs of the current era.
